Enhancing the return on investment in farming, strengthening farmer collectives
To mitigate the challenges of land holding fragmentation and enhance return on investment in farming, strengthening farmer collectives and pulling them on to the center stage of mainstream farm sector businesses is utmost important. To converse the agri. value chain with FPOs, a farm sector corporate coalition led by Bayer in coordination with suitable local partners is organizing nationwide state-level FPO leadership summits and exhibitions to expose 10,000+ FPOs representing 5 million farmers of the country.
The daylong program is followed by series of webinars, in person interactions between the representatives of participating agriculture sector corporates and identified farmers collectives (FPO) to identify the commonalities and terms of each other’s businesses. The program is supported by a team 15-20 expert coordinators who handhold pre-program briefing, one-on-one interactions, facilitate pre-tie-up formalities and post program follow-ups.
The event agenda includes a keynote speech, a special address, panel discussions with top industry leaders, officials and farming experts, Idea exchanges for value co-creation, an exhibition of products and services from the farming sector, signing of trade tie-ups, success story sharing and awards.
